Aplications

Aplications   The KS1150 FA wall and ceiling Acoustic Panel is through-fix solution dedicated for acoustic insulation and acoustic absorption applications. The panels can be laid vertically or horizontally and are suitable for internal applications – as wall or/and ceiling elements. The external application should be considered separately due to aggressiveness of the environment and the load-span conditions.

Taking into consideration the weight of panels and perforated skin on one side, the production of panels longer than 6 meters can cause serious damages to the panel during handling and installation.

Materials

Materials   STEEL    Steel grades: S220GD+Z275, S250GD+Z275 or S280GD+Z275. Hot-dip zinc coated steel with a total of 275g/m2 of zinc, according to EN 10147:2000.   This can be finished with a number of coatings:  Polyester, PVDF, Plastisol and Foodsafe finishes. Austenic stainless steel grade 1.4301 according to EN 10088. Without any coating system, surface finish 2B(IIIc).   Substrate Thicknesses • Standard external sheet thickness 0.50 mm. • Standard internal sheet thickness 0.50 mm. • Other thicknesses are available by agreement with Kingspan.   Internal - External Coating Options   Standard Polyester PES - Polyester is a universal, economic coating system suitable for exterior and interior applications. The nominal coating thickness is 25 μm. The colour range is available according to RAL palette.   Standard colour range: RAL 9002, RAL 9010, RAL 9006, RAL 1015   PVDF - offers unequalled colour and gloss retention and good corrosion resistance. The nominal coating thickness is 25-35 μm. It can be used in climates with extremely high UV radiation combined with extreme temperatures and relative humidity. The standard colour range includes metallic silver.   Spectrum - is a proven organic coating thick. 60 μm with very good UV resistance, formability and excellent corrosion resistance. It is a thick and solid system that does not contain PVC.   Polyester P15 - Polyester coating with a nominal thickness of 15 μm. Standard internal colour range: RAL 9002, RAL 9010, Kingspan White.   Foodsafe - the surface of this 120÷150 μm thick polymer coating is non-toxic and resistant to mould, durable and easy to clean. The standard colour is white RAL 9010.   INSULATION CORE   Man Made Mineral Fibre (MMMF) manufactured. The lamella orientation is perpendicular to facings. Packing \& Delivery

Packing & Delivery   KS1150 FA panels are packed in bundles. The top, bottom, sides and ends are protected with EPS foam and the entire palette is wrapped in plastic. Typical palette height is 1,100 mm. Maximum palette weight is 1800 kg. All deliveries (unless indicated otherwise) are by road transport to project site.
